We are looking for an all round technician to join our team. You will have a varied role, and be responsible for various automotive component assembly operations for low volume, high value powertrain components. These will include the manufacture and remanufacture assembly of engines, gearboxes, transfer boxes, axles and differentials as required.
SKILLS REQUIRED
An automotive background is desirable, but full training will be given on the job.
Experience with hand tools is essential.
Precision measurement from first principles using manual measurement equipment.
Ability to read engineering design and assembly drawings, and be able to follow workshop manuals and process sheets.
Must be able to work as part of a team to achieve team objectives.
Clear, logical thinker with the ability to understand and solve problems.
Full driving license required.
