We are a proud, family-run and owned community pub seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Shift Supervisor to join our front-of-house team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage busy shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with regular patrons
- Support, motivate, and guide front-of-house team members
- Handle customer queries and ensure a welcoming, professional atmosphere
- Assist in maintaining high standards across all areas of the pub
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a customer service or hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of high-volume service, with the ability to stay calm and organised during peak times
- Confidence in coordinating front-of-house service with kitchen operations to deliver smooth, efficient food service
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team while maintaining high standards
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a clear eagerness to learn, take on responsibility, and progress into a more senior role
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods
- Open to occasionally supporting or working at our sister pub, The White Hart – Newnham, as part of a wider team
