Active Staff are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our clients manufacturing team on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring smooth workflow, and adhering to safety standards. Duties of the Production Operative:
- Operate various production machinery and equipment efficiently and safely
- Assist with assembly tasks as required, ensuring quality standards are met
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of tools and machinery
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble products
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to uphold safety regulations
- Support warehouse activities including loading, unloading, and inventory management
- Follow all health and safety protocols during daily operations
- Document production activities accurately and report any issues promptly
Ideal experience of the Production Operative:
- Manufacturing or Production experience
- Full UK driving license (due to location)
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively
- A good understanding of measurements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
