Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Kitchen Assistant / Pot Washer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting food preparation activities. The successful candidate will work a mix Day's Evenings and Weekends contributing to a welcoming and efficient dining environment. Previous experience in a hospitality setting, such as restaurants or hotels, is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within the culinary and hospitality sectors.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff
- Support the organisation and storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Ensure the kitchen area remains clean, hygienic, and organised at all times
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Support the team during busy service periods by providing general assistance as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is desirable but not essential
- Experience working in hospitality, including hotels or catering services, is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and hygiene standards is beneficial
- No prior experience is required; training will be provided to develop necessary skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role
