GBM Waste Management are looking to recruit a Traffic Marshall at our site in Louth.
This is a hands-on role that requires a motivated and conscientious individual who is able to help promote and ensure safe operation of the onsite traffic in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Directing vehicles and plant and controlling traffic in and around the site
- Developing a deep understanding of the relevant risk assessments in order to be able to identify and report risks/ issues
- Ensuring adherence to an agreed system of signalling
- Ensuring areas are free from pedestrians during operations
- Any other duties as required by the company to fulfil the role
Skills / Experience:
- High level of attention to detail
- Willingness to develop a deep understanding of Health & Safety of operations
Due to regular interactions with customers and other visitors to site, the ideal candidate will have a pleasant manner and work well as part of the team, as well as being punctual and reliable.
Although previous experience would be an advantage, full training will be given for the right candidate.
