Job Overview
SRK Scaffolding is looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our growing team in the Fawley Oil Refinery. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our yard and site operations by safely handling materials, loading and unloading deliveries, and ensuring equipment is moved efficiently and securely.
Duties
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently within the yard and work areas
- Loading and unloading scaffolding materials and deliveries
- Moving, stacking, and organising stock and equipment
- Assisting with general yard duties when required
- Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any issues
- Following all health and safety procedures and company guidelines
- Working closely with the scaffolding team to maintain smooth operations
Requirements:
- Valid forklift licence/certification (counterbalance preferred)
- Previous forklift operating experience, ideally within a construction, scaffolding, or industrial environment
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
