Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and label medication containers in accordance with prescriptions and legal requirements
- Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and organising pharmaceutical supplies
- Provide guidance to patients on medication usage and answer basic queries under supervision
- Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
- Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in all patient-related activities
Skills
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to prevent errors in dispensing
