5T – 8T Excavator Operator – Hailsham
We are looking for an experienced 5T – 8T Excavator Operator to join our groundwork team on a site in Hailsham. The role will involve carrying out finishing works and general groundworks to a high standard, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities

Operating 5T – 8T excavators safely and efficiently on site

Carrying out finishing works including grading, levelling and preparation works
-
Assisting with general groundworks duties as required

Carrying out lifting operations in line with site procedures
-
Working safely around existing services and other trades
-
Completing daily plant checks and reporting defects
-
Maintaining plant cleanliness and carrying out basic maintenance
Requirements
-
CPCS or NPORS (CSCS affiliated) Excavator Operator card
-
Lifting Ops endorsement essential
-
Previous experience in finishing works / groundworks
-
Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team

Right to work in the UK

Safety Critical Medical

Experience operating additional plant
-
5+ years’ experience preferred
