Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by sanitising surfaces, fixtures, and fittings regularly
- Dispose of waste responsibly, ensuring bins are emptied and areas remain tidy
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special requests from supervisor
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties effectively, including lifting and standing for extended periods
