Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Manicurist to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional nail care services while providing a welcoming and professional experience for clients. Duties
- Perform a variety of manicure and nail treatments, including shaping, polishing, cuticle care, and specialised nail art if qualified
- Apply makeup as requested by clients to enhance their overall appearance
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Provide personalised advice on nail care, colour choices, and trending styles to clients
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations
- Keep up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and techniques in nail artistry and makeup application
- Handle client queries professionally, ensuring their needs are met with care and attention
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Manicurist or in a similar role within the beauty industry
- Proficiency in makeup application is desirable but not essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent communication skills to understand client preferences and provide tailored advice
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Organised with good time-management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently
- A friendly demeanour with a passion for delivering high-quality beauty treatments
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
