DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic team member with vehicle experience either as a car, LGV or plant technician or similar background, who is looking to further their mechanical engineering experience and wanting to settle into an office environment to strengthen our team of in-house engineers supporting our field team of engineers.
The ideal candidate should have a good working knowledge of the mechanical workings of motor vehicles, have good people skills with the ability to build good rapport with field engineers and offer support to colleagues, computer knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate until they are competent on our bespoke system.
Daily duties will include:
- Making calls to and taking calls from external field engineers in relation to vehicle inspections.
- Creating dictated reports for typists.
- Checking typed reports for mechanical accuracy.
- Technical support for the administration team.
All training will be provided prior to commencing job role.

- Mechanical experience is essential.
- Keyboard skills would be an advantage but not essential.
- Able to work within a team and on own initiative.
- Permission to work in the UK - essential.
