About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Female Support Workers to join our team, supporting individuals with complex care needs.
This role requires a strong clinical skillset alongside a person-centred approach. You will be supporting individuals in their own homes or supported living environments, ensuring their health, safety, and overall wellbeing at all times.
This is not just a support role, it requires confidence, competence, and professionalism in delivering clinical interventions as part of daily care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support
- Deliver clinical interventions safely and effectively
- Support with PEG feeding and nutritional needs
- Assist with manual handling tasks, including use of hoists
- Support with repositioning and pressure care (turning in bed)
- Monitor and report any changes in health or behaviour
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Promote dignity, independence, and choice at all times
Essential Requirements (Must Have):
- Proven experience in PEG feeding
- Competent in manual handling, including hoist use
- Experience with repositioning and pressure care (turning in bed)
- Previous experience supporting individuals with complex or clinical needs
- Up-to-date training in clinical competencies and medication administration
- Experience within supported living and/or domiciliary care settings
- Ability to follow care plans and risk assessments accurately
- Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and responsive in all situations
