Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Support catering services by preparing and organising food items for events
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Serve food to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff
- Support other kitchen staff with various tasks as required during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety standards, and general kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience in food presentation and serving is beneficial but not mandatory
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued
