Role Description: The Production Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Jersey, working within Caprica’s GMP certified processing facility. This role involves operating and monitoring production equipment, following standardized work instructions, cleaning and ensuring all activities comply with GMP and internal quality procedures. The Production Assistant will support GMP harvest, drying, cleaning and processing steps, including hand bucking, hand trimming, in-process checks, and accurate batch documentation. The role also requires close collaboration with quality, engineering, and operations teams to meet production targets and maintain consistent product quality. This role is an excellent opportunity and great entry level position to learn the ins and outs of high quality post harvest cannabis care.
Qualifications:
- Strong focus on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in a regulated production environment.
- Effective Communication skills for working within cross-functional teams and accurately documenting production activities.
- Comfort working in cleanroom or controlled environments, with attention to detail and hygiene standards.
- Ability to clean equipment and areas.
- Basic computer skills for using electronic batch records, logs, and production reporting tools.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, such as standing for extended periods and handling materials safely.
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
