Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation our properties, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in holiday lets, Estate Halls, Caravans or hospitality settings is highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are valued.
Days are mainly Friday Saturdays and Mondays with week day work available, also work in our launderette. This position is not seasonal and all year round.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and presentable
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and waste disposal
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Restock toiletries, towels, and other amenities as required
- Assist with laundry services when necessary
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Must have own transport
