Due to continued growth and the expansion of our Facilities Management division, we are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Joiner to support our clients across Edinburgh, Glasgow and the wider Central Belt.
Working across a diverse portfolio that includes universities, healthcare facilities, leisure centres, commercial buildings and public sector estates, this role offers a varied workload and excellent opportunities for career development.
The Role
This is a mobile position responsible for delivering both planned and reactive joinery and building fabric maintenance services across our client portfolio.
You will undertake a wide range of maintenance, repair and minor project works, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and operational while delivering excellent customer service.
As part of our Facilities Management team, you will work independently and alongside other engineering disciplines to provide high-quality workmanship and timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive joinery maintenance works.
- Repair and replacement of doors, ironmongery and door furniture.
- Installation and repair of skirting, architraves, wall panels and flooring.
- Building fabric repairs and general property maintenance.
- Minor partitioning and refurbishment works.
- Repairs to ceilings, walls and internal finishes.
- Installation and repair of kitchen units, worktops and fixtures.
- Roof-level maintenance and minor external repairs where required.
- Assisting with planned maintenance and small works projects.
- Completing job sheets, reports and photographic records using company mobile technology.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and site representatives.
- Ensuring compliance with all company Health & Safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Joiner/Carpenter (SVQ, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Experience working within commercial maintenance, Facilities Management or construction environments.
- Ability to undertake a wide variety of building fabric repairs.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Desirable Qualifications
- CSCS Card.
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
- Working at Height Certification.
- Asbestos Awareness Training.
- Experience working within healthcare, education or public sector environments.
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience.

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
