About Spectra Drive
At Spectra Drive, we help people stay mobile following a non-fault road traffic accident. We provide replacement vehicles while managing claims directly with the at-fault insurer, making what can be a stressful experience as straightforward as possible for our customers.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised and proactive Fleet & PCN Administrator to join our friendly team.
The Role
The primary focus of this role will be managing Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and other vehicle-related administration received during our hire agreements.
You'll liaise with local authorities, private parking companies, customers and colleagues to ensure notices are dealt with promptly, accurately and within the required timescales.
Alongside this, you'll provide general administrative support across our fleet operation, making this a varied and rewarding role within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all incoming PCNs, parking charges, toll notices and traffic enforcement correspondence.
- Making representations to local authorities and private parking operators where appropriate.
- Transferring liability to hirers in accordance with the relevant legislation.
- Liaising with customers regarding outstanding notices and enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
- Monitoring statutory deadlines to ensure responses are submitted on time.
- Communicating with councils, enforcement agencies and parking operators.
- Assisting with fleet administration and maintaining accurate vehicle records.
- Providing administrative support to the wider business as required.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration experience.
- Has excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Possesses exceptional attention to detail.
- Can confidently manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Communicates professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Can work independently while also enjoying being part of a supportive team.
- Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Enjoys problem-solving and finding practical solutions.
Previous experience dealing with PCNs, parking enforcement, fleet administration or vehicle hire would be an advantage, but full training will be provided, so we're equally keen to hear from candidates with strong administration skills who are looking for a new challenge.
Hours & Flexibility
This is a part-time position of 16 hours per week.
We're happy to discuss how these hours are worked to suit both the successful candidate and the business. Whether that's across two full days, four shorter days or another arrangement, we're open to finding a working pattern that works for everyone.
Additional hours and overtime may be available during busier periods if desired.
