Logistics Assistant
We are looking to employ a Logistics Assistant to join our busy dental laboratory team.
The role will involve the daily packing and dispatch of dental restorations to dental practices, ensuring all work is checked, packaged correctly, and prepared for delivery. You will also be responsible for carrying out local deliveries and collections within the surrounding area, for which a company vehicle will be provided.
In addition to the logistics duties, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and assist with our in-house 3D printing processes and gain experience in basic dental laboratory techniques. This makes the role ideal for someone interested in developing a career within the dental technology industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Packing and preparing dental restorations for dispatch.
Organising daily deliveries and collections.
Delivering and collecting work from local dental practices.
Assisting with 3D printing workflows within the laboratory.
Learning and supporting basic dental technician tasks under supervision.
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections.
Assisting with general logistics and laboratory duties as required.
Ensuring the company vehicle is kept clean and presentable.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Professional and friendly manner when dealing with customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Willingness to learn new skills and develop within a dental laboratory environment.
Previous logistics, delivery, manufacturing, or laboratory experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
