⭐ About the home:
Based in Maidstone, this 4x bedded home is registered to support young people aged between 12 and 18 with both EBD and LD-based needs. The home currently supports four boys, aged 13-16, who have needs related to ASD, ADHD, and GDD. All of the boys have strong attendance in full-time education. The boys are incredibly active, and love spending time playing football, tennis, and basketball; but equally enjoy a fun day out at theme parks and on bike rides!
The home is very well-connected by public transport and is incredibly well-staffed currently. Led by a long-standing Registered Manager, the home is supported by a deputy manager, 4x senior support workers, and 4x residential support workers, to aid your transition into the home!
⭐️ About the role:
As a Children's Senior Residential Support Worker, you will support the staff team by leading shifts, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to the young people while utilising therapeutic values to build long-lasting relationships within the home.
Shifts and working hours:
- 39 hours per week
- 2-3 shifts per week made up of earlys, lates and "long days"
- Early: 08:00 - 15:00 / Late: 14:00 - 23:00 / Long day: 08:00 - 23:00
- 1-2 sleep-ins per week, each paid at £62.64
⭐ What you'll need:
- Minimum of 1 years working within Residential Childcare
- Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Full UK Driving License
