Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in operating computer numerical control machinery.
The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience working with hand tools to produce high-quality components.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, or cutting
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine set-up and production methods
- Inspect machined parts to ensure conformance with specifications
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing basic maintenance tasks
- Handle materials and tooling efficiently in the workshop environment
- Assemble components as required
Experience
- Proficiency in using SolidWorks or similar CAD software is advantageous
- Previous experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is beneficial
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations are essential
- Ability to fabricate and assemble parts accurately using various tools
