An opportunity has arisen for a Gas Cylinder Delivery Driver/Operative at our Anglesey depot.
The role will involve:
· Delivering and connecting LPG cylinders to commercial and domestic customers in vehicles upto 7.5t.
· Loading and unloading of cylinders on vehicles.
· Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
· Completing all necessary paperwork.
· Filling cylinders to company standards.
· Heavy manual handling required.
· Handing out cards to potential customers.
· General maintenance during quiet periods.
The successful Cylinder Driver will have:
· A valid HGV 3 / C1 driving licence + CPC with no more than 6 points.
· ADR (class 2 gases) is an advantage but could be provided for the right person.
· Experience of safe handling and storage of dangerous goods an advantage, but full training will be given.
· Good knowledge of the local area.
· Good customer service skills.
· Willingness to do overtime at short notice during busy periods & participate in a rota for Saturdays.
· Ability to work in a team or on own initiative.
The hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. 41.25 hours per week, but additional hours should be expected in the Winter.
Overtime at time and a half.
20 Days holiday + Bank holidays.
Annual Bonus of upto £1000
