Job Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver specialising in multi-drop store deliveries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to utilise their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Duties
- Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for multiple delivery points throughout the day
- Safely load and unload goods, ensuring securement during transit
- Deliver goods to customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs
- Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Adhere to all health and safety policies, including compliance with COVID-19 protocols where applicable
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with multi-drop deliveries
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving licence for HGV Class 1 vehicles
- Ability to organise routes efficiently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members
- Knowledge of relevant road legislation and safety standards
- Experience in delivery driver roles is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and professionalism
