Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, presentation, and quality control
- Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and hygiene standard
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Prepare high-quality dishes consistently while maintaining attention to detail
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
- Supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Experience in food production and serving within a hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Formal culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential
