Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh medium Play Worker to join our teams based in the afterschool club in Ysgol Pwll Coch. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for creating a safe, fun environment for children during organised play activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support children's development through fun and educational play. The Play Worker Manager will work closely with children and colleagues to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
Duties
- Supervise children during play sessions, ensuring their safety at all times
- Support children's individual needs through personalised attention and encouragement
- Maintain a clean and organised play area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Liaise with parents and carers regarding the children in our care
Requirements
- Experience working with children in childcare, nursery settings or early childhood education is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in Welsh
- Good at working as part of a team as well as leading a team
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
