Absoluxe, an upmarket boutique house with 4 luxury suites in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale, have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a temporary full-time manager / housekeeper to fill the position during the current manager`s maternity leave. We are looking for this role to be filled full time from August 2026 until approximately April 2027.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the hotel / hospitality industry and would be local to Kirkby Lonsdale with a full driving licence.
The duties include the overall managing of the suites, the managing of the cleaners and operationally taking care of laundry and re- stocking of complimentary items.
A phone will be provided which will always require answering, the role includes weekend work, and some cleaning may have to be undertaken by the candidate.
The building is self-check in, and bookings are made online, though occasionally some clients may prefer a meet and greet service, by your good self.
The successful candidate will be offered a very attractive and competitive salary, this would be based upon our perception of the hours required which is twenty-eight per week, however, these hours are flexible and dependent upon bookings, may be less or slightly more.
The bonus scheme for this role is based upon occupancy figures and we would expect the candidate to be proactive, enterprising, and dynamic in this goal.
