City Seals & Bearings Ltd (CSB) are a maintenance, repair and operation supplier based in Sheffield We offer a dedicated service to the engineering sector, with specialised trade counters and staff who aim to provide unrivaled levels of customer service.
We wish to recruit a Warehouse Operative/Counter Sales Person to work in our Sheffield branch. This is an exciting career opportunity offering an excellent working environment in our expanding business
Key responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Operative / Counter Salesperson include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service at the trade counter.
- Operating computer and payment systems, handling transactions with accuracy and care.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders securely for delivery.
- Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised store environment.
- Supporting stock management and goods inwards / outwards procedures.
Applications for the position of Warehouse Operative / Counter Salesperson are invited from individuals who has:
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- The ability to develop a positive working relationship with customers
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service role, ideally in the engineering or associated trades.
- Knowledge of engineering and MRO products (desirable)
- The ability to identify sales opportunities and solve customer issues creatively.
