Duties
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of a diverse range of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all menu items
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen operations
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment at all times
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality environments
- Previous restaurant experience is essential, with an understanding of high-volume service operations
