We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Solar Electrician to help install and maintain residential and commercial solar PV systems. If you’re passionate about renewable energy and take pride in high-quality electrical work, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain solar electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure electrical systems are functioning optimally and safely.
- Read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and repair work.
- Collaborate with managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Keep detailed records of work performed for maintenance logs and compliance purposes.
Experience.
Proven experience as a solar electrician, with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as electrical testing equipment, screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in solar electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments, demonstrating flexibility and reliability. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their skills in a professional setting while advancing their career within the electrical trade
Skills
- Proven experience working with solar electrical systems in commercial and Residential settings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools like drills, saws and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- City and Guilds 2399 Domestic photovoliac systems
- City and Guilds 18th edition
- City and Guilds 2931 testing and inspection.
- Full Driving License
