The Role: Complex Care Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour, increasing to £14.50 per hour once competent.
Location: Doncaster, DN10
Contract Type: Permanent, with immediate start available.
DBS: Preferred / Update Service desirable
Driver with access to a vehicle: Preferred

Our team of skilled professionals provides specialist, person-centred care for people with spinal cord injuries and other complex needs. We are now looking for like-minded professionals to join us in delivering high-quality care that truly makes a difference.
It’s important to note that we recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location. However, there may be occasional opportunities to work across other packages within the area.
The Person in Doncaster
Are you ready to make a genuine difference in a person’s life?
You will be supporting an 8-year-old girl with Cerebral Palsy and learning difficulties.
She requires full moving and handling support, medication management and PEG feeding.
She is passionate about playing and spending time with her family.
You will play an important role in supporting her to achieve the best possible quality of life by providing compassionate, person-centred care. She is very much looking forward to meeting her new support worker.

Training
At Josh’s Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become compliant in all areas of specialised care, from tracheostomy and ventilator management to postural and respiratory care, as well as PEG feeding.
You will be supported by our skilled and experienced nursing team, who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in nursing and complex care. This ensures you receive the highest standard of training and support possible.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills and previous care experience. Knowledge of complex care is an advantage.
A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our client’s quality of life.
To be considered for this position, you will need:

- A current DBS if possible — paper certificate or Update Service preferred
- A driving licence — preferred
