Location: Gloucester & Cheltenham
Salary: £13.00 per hour (days), £13.16 per hour (nights)
Contract Type: 45 hours (days), 36 hours (nights)
Shift Patterns: 7:00am – 3:00pm, 3:00pm – 10:00pm, 7:00am – 10:00pm, 10:00pm – 7:00am (Sleep-in shifts may also be required)
This role is subject to a DBS check, which will be provided by Prosperity Care & Wellbeing. Please note we do not offer sponsorship at this time.

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Worker to join our team in Cheltenham and Gloucester. In this role, you will provide care and support to multiple individuals across different services, each with a diverse range of needs.
You will work with people requiring 1:1 support, assisting with daily living, wellbeing, life skills, and community engagement. The role requires flexibility to support individuals across multiple locations, ensuring safety, promoting independence, and delivering high-quality, compassionate care that respects each person’s choices and dignity.
Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, assisting with daily living, personal care, wellbeing, and life skills development. You will encourage participation in meaningful activities, ensure safety, promote independence, and work across multiple services in Cheltenham and Gloucester to cover staff sickness and annual leave, responding to individual behaviours with patience, care, and professionalism.
About You
We are looking for a caring, energetic Support Worker who are confident in providing support, comfortable with physically challenging behaviours, and proactive in engaging individuals in activities. You will be committed to promoting independence and wellbeing, flexible to work across multiple services in Cheltenham and Gloucester, and reliable, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
