Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bar/Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our Pub, Restaurant and Guest Rooms . The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Previous restaurant, hotel, or barista experience is highly desirable, along with strong leadership and organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the bar and restaurant.
- Ensuring customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and conducting stock checks.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Managing cash flow, daily reconciliations, and reporting to senior management.
- Handling customer complaints and resolving service issues.
- Ensuring licensing laws and alcohol service regulations are followed.
- Opening and closing the premises as required.
- Following the cleaning, open & close sheets.
- Leading by example with a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a customer-first approach.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting.
- Experience in team management, leadership roles, or supervisory positions in a hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of restaurant service procedures and customer service excellence.
- Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
