Fitter's Mate – Data Centre Project (Mechanical)
Fitter's Mate Required – Weybridge, Surrey
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Fitter's Mates to support mechanical installation teams on a major data centre project in Weybridge, Surrey.
Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Rate: £19.00–£21.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Duration: Long-term work
Hours: Full-time
Duties:
- Assisting Mechanical Fitters, Pipe Fitters, and Duct Fitters with installation works.
- Moving and distributing materials around site.
- Supporting the installation of mechanical services, plant, pipework, and ductwork.
- Assisting with measuring, cutting, and preparing materials.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Labourer Card or CSCS Green Card.
- Previous experience working as a Mechanical Mate, Fitter's Mate, or Skilled Labourer on commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Good understanding of site health and safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full PPE.
Preferred:
- IPAF 3a/3b certification.
- PASMA certification.
- Previous experience on data centre, commercial, or M&E projects.
- Manual handling certification.
