Caterfood SW LTD is an independently run foodservice business supplying frozen food, catering products, and distribution services across the South West. As we head into our busy summer period, we’re looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our dayshift team on a temporary basis to support increased demand until mid September.
Job Summary:
Working as part of the dayshift team, you will support the smooth running of the warehouse operation, focusing on goods in and replenishment to ensure stock is correctly received, stored, and available for picking.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for unloading deliveries, booking stock into the system, and ensuring products are put away accurately and safely within the warehouse.
A key part of the role will be replenishment, making sure picking locations are fully stocked and ready to support the operational flow. You’ll work closely with the wider team to keep the warehouse organised, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure work is completed within shift.
This is a physical, fast-paced role where attention to detail and working safely are essential at all times.
About You:
You’re reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment. You take pride in doing the job properly and working as part of a team to get things done.
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. A positive attitude, good attention to detail, and the ability to work at pace are key.
You must be able to commit to a temporary role over the summer period and work consistently within the 08:00 – 16:00 shift. There may also be the opportunity for a permanent position in the future, depending on business needs and performance.
