Salary: £30,000-£35,000 DOE

The successful candidate will coach and mentor apprentices studying the Level 3 Dental Nurse Practitioner Diploma and Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years’ experience as a dental nurse and hold current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Planning and delivering engaging classroom-based theoretical teaching
- Assessing learners in practice through workplace observations and reviews
- Supporting learner development, progression, and achievement
- Maintaining accurate assessment documentation in line with the awarding body standards
- Ensuring compliance with internal quality assurance and regulatory requirements
The successful candidate will hold a relevant assessor qualification (TAQA/A1) and a tutoring qualification (AET), or be working towards these qualifications.
Regular travel to dental practices across the North West is required. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
We may consider appointing to this role on a Trainee Tutor/Assessor basis. Full support will be provided; however, the cost of the required qualifications will be the responsibility of the candidate.

- Level 3 Dental Nursing qualification (C&G or NEBDN)
- Current GDC registration
- Minimum five years’ experience working as a dental nurse
- Awareness of current dental practices and educational methodologies
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- CAVA and AET qualifications (or equivalent)
- Experience teaching, training, or mentoring trainee dental nurses
- Experience assessing skills and knowledge in line with City & Guilds standards

Desirable attributes include:

- Experience providing constructive and supportive feedback
