Duties
- Cutting, colouring, styling, and grooming clients’ hair according to their preferences and current trends
- Providing specialised services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments
- Offering personalised consultations to recommend suitable styles and products
- Managing appointment schedules at the front desk efficiently and professionally
- Upselling haircare products and additional services to maximise client satisfaction and revenue
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting store management in daily operations
- Maintaining a clean, organised work station in compliance with health and safety standards
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
Skills
- Proven experience in barbering or hairdressing with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively and understand their needs
- Ability to manage store operations, including front desk duties and appointment scheduling
- Skilled in mentoring junior staff members to foster a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments is desirable
- Strong upselling abilities to promote products and additional services confidently
- Organised with exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of client care and salon maintenance
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle diverse client requests professionally
