About us
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs – we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment – and we’re looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are looking for experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a teenage boy with complex care needs within a 2:1 care package in his family home.
He requires full support with all aspects of daily living and clinical care. Duties may include seizure management, PEG feeding, suctioning, personal care, and moving and handling. Experience in respiratory care and severe epilepsy is essential, including confidence in administering rescue medication.
He enjoys a variety of sensory-based activities, including musical toys and messy play, and loves watching Disney films especially The Lion King and Toy Story. When feeling well, he enjoys trips to the cinema and bowling. He is also a passionate Wolves fan and enjoys being around animals.
During night shifts, you will closely monitor his wellbeing, manage his clinical needs, and ensure he remains safe, comfortable, and settled throughout the night.
You will be working within a warm and welcoming family home alongside his family and their two dogs, so applicants must be comfortable in a pet-friendly environment.
We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, a calm and proactive approach, and the ability to respond confidently to changing needs and clinical situations.
This is a truly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s life by supporting him to live safely, happily, and as independently as possible within his home environment.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
“This isn't just a job – it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.”

- Confidence supporting children with complex care needs

- Clear and effective communication skills
- Comfort working in a pet-friendly home (dogs on the property)
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly pay with enhancements for nights and weekends
- Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
- Reward & recognition programme
- Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
