We are currently looking to recruit a new team member a trainee /apprentice to assist with the full overhaul / build of medium sized industrial Diesel engines.
The job will also include diagnostic repair to the for-mentioned engines.
A good working attitude, the ability to communicate and work with other team members is paramount for this position. Experience in this field is preferred however not compulsory for the right highly motivated, intelligent and keen to learn individual.
Please note this role is in a fast paced mechanical workshop with monthly targets to be met whilst meeting high standards of workmanship, health and safety protocol must also be adhered to as a priority over all whilst achieving the above .
Job Type / Category
This is a full time role working 6-5 Monday to Thursday, 6-4 on Fridays and 6-12 every other Saturday, however these hours are subject to change dependant on work load.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Applicants will need to possess:
- Secondary education - a good level of education in mathematics and written English.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to be self- motivated, ambitious, be able to work successfully on their own initiative as well as within a team.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn at a fast pace.
- Good attention to detail
