Job Description:
We have an immediate requirement for a delivery driver to join our team. The role is based in Alton, Surrey and will deliver nationally.
We deliver and assemble sofas, armchairs, and beds, to our customer base but it also includes:
· Preparing products for collection from the warehouse
· Distributing stock between warehouses
· Undertaking customer service calls such as delivering replacement parts to customer's home
· Delivering items to and moving furniture on product photoshoots
· Contacting customers to keep updated of delivery time and if delays occur due to traffic.
During deliveries, you will be working with a crew of two men per van. The role will be working alongside our Warehouse Manager, to assist the Production, Customer Service and Marketing Departments.
Person Specification:
We’re looking for someone who has:
· A full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
· A practical mindset and hands on approach to problem solving
· Excellent attention to detail
· Confidence working with customers in a professional and polite manner
· Good organisational skills, and able to prioritise and plan effectively
Hours are based on 7 - 4, Monday to Friday, but as we deliver nationwide this cannot be guaranteed.
