We are a Surfacing and Civil Engineering company based in Ryton, Tyne & Wear
Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit an experienced Office Administrator to join our closely knit friendly office team.
The role of Office Administrator is to provide a professional and efficient service to the business.
This role involves;
Quotations/New Works
- Answering email enquiries and distribute accordingly
- Type up quotations and sent to customers
- Make up new work files, obtain purchase orders
Ordering
- Place orders for materials and deal with any enquires regarding deliveries
- Place orders for office sundries, PPE any other items as and when required
Admin
- Responding to emails
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members
- Answering incoming telephone calls and action as appropriate
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail including sorting and distributing
- Liaising with the accounts department where necessary
- Keeping a high level of tidiness and appearance in the office
- Updating spreadsheets and producing reports
The ideal candidate will be well organised with excellent communication skills and telephone manner. They will be accurate and 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential. They must be a team player and be happy to support different roles within the business when necessary.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5pm
