We are looking for a reliable and compassionate part time Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. You will play an important role in supporting resident wellbeing by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitise resident bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and staff facilities.
Follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.
Replenish cleaning supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Maintain residents’ privacy, dignity, and respect at all times.
Comply with all health and safety, safeguarding, and care home policies.
Requirements
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A caring and professional approach when working around elderly and vulnerable adults.
DBS & Safeguarding
An Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required. Successful applicants must be committed to safeguarding residents and promoting their safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
Pay: £12.81 per hour
