Cable & Splicing Services (CASS) is a long-established leader in UK telecommunications, delivering high-quality network infrastructure and customer solutions nationwide. We’re looking for experienced Telecoms De-Silt Gangs to support ongoing fibre network build projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Telecoms De-Silt Gang, you’ll support fibre network build projects by clearing and maintaining underground telecoms duct networks using jetting and de-silting equipment.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Jetting and de-silting underground telecoms ducts
- Clearing blockages and restoring duct routes for fibre installation
- Rodding and proving duct infrastructure
- Working safely within chambers, footways, and carriageways
- Operating jetting and associated equipment safely and effectively
- Completing works in line with health & safety and street works requirements
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism on site
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking reliable operatives with underground telecoms or utilities experience and a strong understanding of duct clearing and jetting activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- SA002, S007 (or equivalent), SA010
- NRSWA Unit 1
- Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, First Aid at Work, and Banksman
- Valid NOPS Smart Awards Card (essential)
- Valid CSCS or EUSR Health & Safety accreditation within Construction or Utilities (essential)
- Experience working within underground telecoms networks
- Understanding of H&S requirements for lone and team working
- Previous fibre or network build experience
- PIA experience desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Clear DBS preferred
