Town & Country Fine Foods is an established national supplier of premium products for Fine Dining, Pastry and Hospitality in the UK.
The Area Sales Manager is the face of Town & Country Fine Foods to some of the most prestigious catering businesses in the UK.
Purpose of the job
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, as part of the field sales team, you will be responsible for growing sales revenue in the Midlands (comprising Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding areas). The successful candidate will develop and maintain relationships with high value customers, maximize new business opportunities and support National Account Managers and Sales Specialists as well other colleagues to promote the T&CFF portfolio as directed across all channels of the business.
Core Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Creating a journey plan to deliver results in line with TCFF growth targets. These plans will include the retention and development of existing business and acquiring new business.
· Booking appointments to achieve target levels of presentations and customer contacts each week.
· Taking on-the-spot orders wherever possible to secure business.
· Liaison with National Sales Managers to identify the best opportunities and listings.
· Attending sales and other internal meetings as required and contributing positively to those sessions.
· Participation in presentations and exhibitions as required.
· Supporting and actively promoting Company marketing and sales initiatives.
· Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts for high volume customers.
· To maintain and care for all Company property including vehicle, IT & telecoms equipment.
- To maintain and submit on a timely basis all Company reporting, including expense forms and mileage reports, in accordance with Company protocols.

There is significant geographic coverage in this role, therefore travelling will be essential. Some over-night stays and international travel may be required to execute the role efficiently.
This is a hybrid working role, however the successful candidate will be expected to work from the company head office in Slough once per week.
Person Specification for Area Sales Manager
Professional / Technical Qualifications
· GSCE Grade C and above in Maths and English.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Relevant A-levels / Degree.
· Catering qualifications.
Experience & Job Knowledge
· Passion for and experience with food - not necessarily gained in professional kitchens, but at least a keen home cook.
· Determination to succeed, proven track record of success – not necessarily in sales, but proof of success achieved through personal determination and a will to win.
· Knowledge / Experience of professional catering, particularly pastry section, and / or hospitality.
· Proven successful experience in field sales.
· Knowledge of LRN product range.
· Familiarity with SAP

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
