Chapter is an international centre for contemporary arts and culture
Our café bar is located in the main concourse, with space for 200 covers. Food is on sale through the day, with a varied menu of freshly made hot food, sandwiches and salads, tea, coffee and cakes. Alcohol is served from midday to 11pm.
This post works with the Cafe Bar Manager to supervise the Cafe Bar Assistants to maintain a high standard of service to users of the cafe bar. There are a mix of responsibilities including overseeing the operation and being part of the team making coffee, pouring drinks, running food orders, clearing spaces and, talking to customers.
If you are over 18 years old and have the following:
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, bar cellar procedures
- Understanding of allergies and dietary requirements
- Ability to work in an environment which can be pressured at times
- Outgoing, friendly personality
- Good communication skills
- Smartly presented
- Good Maths skills
