Our client is looking for operators to carry out Pre Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles to a manufacturer specification. This inspection not only ensures that the vehicle is in perfect condition for the customer/end user, but completes finishing touches to dealer specification.
Duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate:
- Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with PDI schedules - this is broken down into stages and you will work as part of a team, learning one stage at a time until you are confident enough to move on to the next stage.
- Using Diagnostic equipment and reporting any defects on vehicles.
- Ensure that all repair documents are completed as required.
- Carry out safety checks / levels checks / bodywork inspection & tyre work to a range of vehicles.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
Level 2 NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology or a similar qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
Applicants must have held a drivers licence for at least 3 years, free from DR10 OR IN10 convictions and no more than 3 points due to insurance pre requisites
