Private Client Solicitor – Exciting Opportunity with a Leading Firm
Our client, a highly respected and established regional law firm, is seeking an experienced and driven Private Client Solicitor to join their team. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of matters, including Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection cases, while supporting the team’s broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial consultations and client triage where needed
- Provide expert advice on Wills, Trusts, capacity issues, and Inheritance Tax
- Advise on and manage Lasting Powers of Attorney applications and registrations
- Support clients with probate matters and deputyships
- Manage ongoing case files, ensuring they are organised and up-to-date
- Assist in business development and client relationship management
- Achieve monthly and year-end fee targets
- Attend team meetings, training, and development courses as required
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and maintain proper case records using DPS
- Effectively manage WIP and client financing matters
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years’ PQE (or equivalent) in private client law
- Strong experience in handling Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience using multiple legal systems and handling data analysis
- A proactive team player who can contribute to business development efforts
