Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in retail or sales management. The Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow business in the foodservice sector
- Identify new business opportunities with restaurants, cafes, takeaways, and retail shops
- Assess customer needs from the hospitality and retail sectors to improve product quality and ensure efficient delivery
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing structures, and new products in the market
- Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales figures to monitor business performance and identify trends
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for senior management
- Manage key customer accounts and maintain strong business relationships to ensure long-term partnerships
Experience
- Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Demonstrable success in managing teams, supervising staff, and driving sales performance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Experience in merchandising, customer service excellence, and administrative functions related to sales management.
