Full Time Yard / Maintenance Person

Role description
We are seeking an individual with good organisational skills to join a local family owned company.
The vacancy is full time, 5 days per week, on a rota basis. The premises opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am-5pm - Sunday 10am-4pm.
Statutory entitlements to leave and pension.
Your Daily Duties would include (but are not limited to):
- Organising and tidying yard and storage areas
- Checking and maintaining vehicles and plant
- Cleaning and jet-washing of vehicles and plant
- Booking in and out of plant
- Stock control – monitoring and re-ordering
- Loading / unloading of vehicles
- Stock Movement
The preferred applicant would have the following qualities:
➢ Excellent organisational ability
➢ Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Good customer service manner
- Good literacy and numeracy skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a small team
- Experience of working within industrial and retail sectors
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Fork-lift truck experience
- skills and/or experience of basic plant and vehicle maintenance
This is a fairly varied role so you must be confident in the above, but also be willing to carry out additional duties as and when required.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
