Crowded House are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, contributing to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in meal preparation during busy service periods, maintaining efficiency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high standards of food quality
- Stock and replenish ingredients as needed, ensuring proper storage practices are followed
- Support the overall operation of the kitchen, including cleaning, sanitising, and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
