Job Overview
The Rugby Montessori nursery school on Vicarage Road ( near town) is seeking a reliable General Kitchen Assistant to work at our outstanding nursery in Rugby. This role involves serving food that is already cooked, washing pots, pans and utensils, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring food safety standards are met and meeting all allergy requirements when serving food.
This role is 12.5 per week 11am till 1.30 pm and is only during the school holidays. Position starts on Monday 20th July
Duties
- Washing pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Keeping Kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised
- Assisting with basic food prep (when required)
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Serving food , ensuring meeting allergy requirements.
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or a restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
