Inpatient Registered Veterinary Nurse - Barnsley

Candor Vets is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy veterinary hospital in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. This role focuses on inpatient care within a supportive and highly skilled team.
The Role
The successful candidate will take a leading role in caring for patients across both the first opinion and referral sides of the hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting patients through their treatment and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the care for inpatients in both first opinion and referral services.
- Ensuring all patients receive the highest standard of care.
- Managing Continuous Rate Infusions (CRIs).
- Managing Indwelling catheters.
- Handling a wide variety of complex medical and surgical cases.
About the Area
The clinic features 10 modern consulting rooms and four theatres, complete with X-ray and dental suites. It boasts separate dog and cat wards and handles a diverse caseload, ranging from surgical and medical cases to in-house orthopaedic procedures.
